Wage Subsidy Scheme (WSS)
The COVID-19 Wage Subsidy August 2021 is a payment for eligible businesses to keep paying staff and protect jobs.
This payment is $600 per full-time worker and $359 per part-time worker, per week.
The LSS and STAP are live and have been available ongoing and are not linked to the recent Alert Level change. Now that the WSS August 2021 is live it’s more likely for business to claim this subsidy , but for 6 Alert Level 4 businesses that are still open and are unlikely to qualify for WSS then LSS can still be considered as there is no revenue test.
